- you talk we listenBrown Hats is a multi-hyphenated company in a multi-tasking world. With a combined twenty years of experience in the ever-changing world of television, Odile Isralson and Lina Matta have worked in news, produced award-winning documentaries, launched the first-ever US online literary talk show, created web content, consulted for overseas television entertainment networks and advised clients on how to optimize and leverage social media to further promote their message.

PRODUCTION
- Documentaries, News and Online ContentOdile and Lina have been working as news producers for European (Swiss TV, ARD, ZDF, Arte) and Middle East (Dubai TV, Kuwait TV, Al-Jazeera) news outlets.
They have covered breaking news, worked as producers on specials (elections/inaugurations/summits etc) and produced for current affairs programs as well as for investigative pieces for magazine shows.
In addition, they have produced two-award winning, social issue documentaries: Prison Lullabies and Running For Bogota; and launched the first-ever literary online talkshow in the US, Titlepage.tv.

PROGRAMMING
- TV Programming, Acquisition and Film CuratingLina is currently Channel Manager of MBC 4.
Prior to that she was hired as a consultant by Dubai Media Inc. to revamp and relaunch their English-language entertainment network, Dubai One and train the local Emirati staff. For 6 years, Lina spearheaded the acquisition of all American entertainment content for the channel as well as oversaw the programming of its shows.
Lina is also in the curator of ASWAT Contemporary Arab Cinema, a series showcasing the best Arab film directors working today. ASWAT will launch at the Jacob Burns Film Center in NY in May 2012.
